Undistracted Fathers
This sermon, “Undistracted Fathers,” uses Psalm 127:4’s image of children as arrows to encourage Christian fathers to focus on the most important goals in parenting rather than becoming distracted by work, entertainment, or countless activities. The speaker argues that dads should aim their children toward three biblical priorities: loving God through a personal relationship with Him and regular family devotionals, loving others by teaching service, responsibility, forgiveness, and involvement in the home and church, and reaching the lost by participating in evangelism, missions, and ministry beyond the church walls. By concentrating on these three targets—upward love for God, inward love for others, and outward love for unbelievers—fathers can help their children grow into faithful, servant-hearted Christians and avoid being distracted by less important pursuits.
